Activities in the Community Hall
‘Cheam Tots’ meets on Tuesday mornings during term time from 10am to 11.30am for parents and carers to share time together for a chat and coffee while the children play.
The Women’s Friendly Hour hold their meetings on Tuesday afternoons at 2.30pm. Speakers share a variety of interesting topics and there are regular musical afternoons and a monthly members’ time.
The hall also hosts groups for International Folk Dancing, Keyboard lessons, Puppy Training and Irish Dancing.
Two fairs are held each year raising funds for local and national charities and for the support of the church and Ryelands Methodist Home in Wallington. The Summer Fair and Christmas Fair raise funds for the Church and Christian Aid, Street Carol singing raises money for Action for Children, Crisis for Christmas is supported on Christmas Day.
Messy Church provides an opportunity for families to share and enjoy a variety of craft, cooking and challenge activities which culminate in a short time of worship. Three ‘Messies’ are held each year - Easter, Christmas and mid summer.
